Hitachi Construction Machinery (, is a renowned producer of heavy machinery, who have assembled a world class group of products and services to provide solutions for the needs of the Australian mining, construction, earthmoving, quarry and forestry industries.

Our Mackay branch is seeking a Trade Qualified & Experienced Mechanical wiz to join their team as the Customer Support Coordinator 

Reporting directly into the Customer Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing onsite support and co-ordination of a fleet of Hitachi Mining Excavators.

Responsibilities include but are not restricted to;

  • Collection and collation of raw data
  • Provide insight into trending of the gathered data
  • Create action plans based on collated information
  • Communicate and liaise onsite with our high-profile customer
  • Co-ordinate and plan all service related activities in relation to maximizing availability of machines onsite
  • Regular machine health reporting

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Project Planning experience
  • Mechanical trade qualification
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of spare parts and or sales environment essential
  • Ability to work and maintain a disciplined schedule with minimal supervision.
