Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (www.hcma.com.au) is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the Construction, Forestry and Mining industries.

An opportunity has become available for a focused and motivated individual to join our team in Brisbane in the position of Customer Support Manager.

In this role you will be required to maintain a skilled and motivated team which provides a high level of after sales customer support with a deliverable being an increase in customer service and parts sales in line with Branch budgets and to key shareholders.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your main responsibilities include:

  • Maintain the link between the customer and the company to ensure a level of service and parts sales are maintained to meet company external sales budgets.
  • Mentor and promote business growth within you department.
  • Utilise customer tracking software and other software to identify and strategize sales opportunities and growth.
  • Compile regular customer activity reports and oversee the accuracy and timeliness of quotations and customer invoicing processes.
  • Develop and implement strategic customer parts and service sales promotions. 

To be successful you will need:

  • As a minimum 5 to 10 years Sales Management or Business Development Management experience
  • Proven ability to work to departmental budgets
  • Ability to mentor and support with a results driven focus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
