Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a global OEM brand that sells and supports a variety of high quality machinery and equipment for the construction, forestry and mining industries. Our 24/7 National Support Centre based in Revesby provides support directly to all our customers and branches nationally 7 days a week.

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager we are currently seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our Data Support Team at the 24/7 with previous office / call centre experience working 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Your role will involve responding to a high volume of inbound customer orders, via email and web portals. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact for all enquiries including but not limited to; pricing, parts, availability of stock, order enquires and much more.
  • Entering all sales order information into our internal databases
  • Liaise with customers in relations to purchase orders.
  • Providing sales quotes via email to any customers
  • Meeting both individual and business KPI's and targets
  • Providing 100% Customer Satisfaction at all times!!

As the ideal candidate you will possess the following key attributes:

  • Previous internal/counter sales experience within an industrial business and/or
  • Experience working within a high-volume, Fast Paced, Call Center/Customer Service environment. 
  • Excellent communication, ability to work under pressure, excellent time management and ability to be able to to multitask and navigate between system and databases which is Essential!!
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range stakeholders from various areas of our business internally and externally
  • Self-motivation, innitative and drive to go the extra mile! 

Proficiency with MS Office is essential thus the selected candidate will be required to complete an online aptitude test.
