Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. With a solid network of branches nationally, we service a multitude of customers, including construction, agriculture, quarry, forestry and mining with leading OEM equipment and quality after sales support.

The Role

With strong growth in our parts department, HCA's Brisbane branch has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of a Parts Interpreter.  The position will see you focus on the coordination and supply of quality parts to our much loved customers based in Brisbane, Dalby, Central Western and South Queensland in an 18 month fixed term contract.

This role will be best suited to someone who enjoys varied work as you will be providing customer service from an operational standpoint. In this position, you will be well supported to provide a range of OEM level services ranging from sourcing parts,  invoicing and customer query management through to warranty support and stock coordination.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience & Skillset - Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience in a Parts environment is essential
  • Industry Knowledge - A developed mechanical understanding of the Construction and Mining field would be highly regarded
  • Warehousing & Logistics Coordination - With confident computer literacy skills
  • Safety Conscious - A strong, developed awareness and commitment to personal and peer health and safety.
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate any issues in supply and demand and identifying upselling opportunities
  • Autonomous productivity - A self-driven yet collaborative Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction
